• AWS D1.1: 2015 Prequalified Welding Procedure Specification (WPS)
• Qualifies the following:
• Common prequalified groove and fillet joints (note - open root joints are not prequalified)
• Flat, Vertical, Horizontal and Overhead positions
• D1.1 Group I to Group I, Group II to Group I, and Group II to Group II
• 1/8 in. to 3/4 in. base metal thickness or up to 1.5" thick with 50 degree minimum preheat.
